This is a dungeon room designed and rendered for a university project. The goal was to design (gameplay and visually) a room that could be played in a Dungeons and Dragons session, including the terrain, enemies and possible actions/encounters for the players.

Those tents belong to an orc camp within the cavern entrance. They set up camp in order to loot the old dwarf forge. However they all died trying to loot it with exception to one survivor.

This is an improvised orc shield which was given some arrow heads and spears to be used as a melee weapon itself. The orc survivor is carrying it.

This is the only non rendered image. It is the surviving wrapped in bandages so the mosquito creatures in this cave have a harder time detecting him. He is armed with his special shield, an one hand axe and a dagger. When talked to he asks the players for help in looting the forge.

This is the giant mosquito creature of which multiple lurk in the cavern. They are what killed the orcs and they guard the forge as their breeding ground. They have a keen sense of smell and detect even the smallest amount of blood. They are immune to fire and can hide within lava. (There is also a 3D printed version of this creature – images at the end of the page)

The entrance to the old dwarf forge can be seen here with its crumbled pillar as it is long abandoned.

A small shrine for good fortune among the dwarfes that worked here. There is a small slit in the mouth of the dwarf face in which a coin can be placed to recieve good luck from their gods.

This shows a larva from the giant mosquito creatures. It has no means of defending itself, however if attacked it will scream and most likley attract the mosquitos.
